The seats for recumbents and especially for lowriders typically have a horizontal seat postion. In order to see what is in front of him, the driver must constantly hold his head in forward position. The head therefore does not rest on the spine anymore, but is held in an unusaul position by the muscles of the neck and the upper back.
It is very relieving for the driver if he can relax his muscles once in a while, and place his head on the headrest thus preventing Cramps, tension and muscle aches.
In the unlikely event of an accident on the road or rear-end collision the headrest also ensures the personal safety of the driver.
The headrest can easily be attached to any type of our seats.
All you need to do is drill one hole through the seat and mount the headrest with the enclosed screws and screw nuts.
